GASHUB POWERS BTS FUEL CELL GENERATOR – BACKUP SYSTEM
The GASHUB POWERS communication (BTS) base station fuel cell power generator system is a comprehensive power generator with a built in power backup system. The system directly replaces the traditional diesel generator set that is coupled by an expensive rectifier system and battery banks used to power and backup remotely located communication base station systems. The GASHUB POWERS BTS FUEL CELL POWER GENERATOR eliminates the need for the air condition system that is traditionally used to preserve the limited battery life.
Based on our proprietary Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Technology, our BTS FUEL CELL POWER GENERATORs are relatively small in size compared to the traditional diesel generators used. They also provide instantaneous continuous backup with “zero switch over time”. Hydrogen bipolar plate diffusion in fuel cells is an important consideration for safety. GASHUB POWERS BTS FUEL CELL POWER GENERATORS uses our own proprietary molded bipolar plate’s technology which prevents hydrogen bipolar plate diffusion entirely unlike fuel cells using machined bipolar plates.
GASHUB POWERS proprietary Fuel Cell Generator Redundancy (FCGR) system coupled with GASHUB Battery Backup system provides a robust power backup configuration which ensures maximum uptime. The GASHUB POWERS intelligent fuel cell control system is able to isolate faults to ensure the uptime for the fuel cell generator system at the same time notifies the service centre of the fault. Coupled with GASHUB POWERS remote monitoring data logging capability, GASHUB POWERS BTS Fuel Cell Generator – Backup system provides a comprehensive suite to support remote power generation for the communication industry.
GASHUB POWERS BTS Fuel Cell Generator requires minimum maintenance. System will require a monthly inspection by the service engineer. A quarterly maintenance will be done to the system without disruption to the systems operation.

# The Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is calculated at full output power and an operating ambient temperature (TA) of +40°C, which is a typical condition in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment. Different methods could be used to calculate the predicted MTBF and failure rate which may give different results. |
+ Fuel Cell Stack life is a function of membrane life and power profile. For constant power profile, the predominant factor determining fuel cell life will be the membrane life. |
